Bonnie Beyer specializes in the unique handcrafted jewelry. She is a self-taught artisan, showing and selling her work at Art festivals, galleries and museums across the United States for the past 40 years. Bonnie works in a number of mediums, including Swedish horseshoe nails, sterling silver, semi-precious stones, hand hammered brass and copper, wire, solder & others. For four decades, Bonnie's work has continued to grow and mature as she forges ahead along her creative path. She divides her time between Chautauqua, NY and Scottsdale, AZ, working festivals year round. In 2008, Bonnie opened The Art Loft, a one-of-a-kind, seasonal art gallery & gift shop located 1/4 mile North of the historic Chautauqua Institution, in Chautauqua, New York. Built in 1899, it was originally built as a storage facility for coal and feed.  In the early 1900’s it was converted into a lumber mill, then later used as a facility for teaching art classes to students in the area.  The spacious open floor plan, 40 ft. ceilings, & rustic appearance, make for a perfect setting to house all styles of art. The gallery, a six room, ever-changing, malleable space, represents works by over 100 artists, consisting of jewelry, sculpture, pottery, fine art, clothing and more.  A devoted artist and champion of talented artisans, Bonnie, along with her husband, Warren, designed & opened The Art Loft to exhibit the work of hard-working, talented artists from throughout the United States, including many from Chautauqua County. The Art Loft, located at 4994 West Lake Road (Rt.394) Mayville, NY 14757, is a must-see for all art lovers in the Chautauqua and Western New York area. http://www.theartloft.orgshapeimage_1_link_0
